Power delivery networks at a crossroads

Billion-dollar industries have been built around standard 12V Power Delivery Networks (PDN). As power levels rise across many industries, power system designers are increasing their PDN above 12V to ease power delivery challenges.

Transitioning to these new PDNs, such as 48V, 400V and 800V, provides an opportunity to substantially improve system performance with non-traditional power delivery architectures, converter topologies and power module packaging.
